PL-30-K - Troubleshooting: Stylus

The stylus tip does not come down on the record

• Match the balance weight to the appropriate stylus pressure value for your cartridge
• Turn the balance weight until the tone arm becomes horizontal state

Stylus jumping occurs

• Match the balance weight to the appropriate stylus pressure value for your cartridge
• Check the condition of the record
• Remove the shell with cartridge and use a soft tip brush
  or writing brush to carefully remove dust, etc. from the
  stylus tip
• Adjust anti-skating correctly
• Adjust the arm height correctly
