Automatic Play
30-cm LP records and 17-cm EP records can be played automatically.
1. Open the dust cover.
2. Place the record on the platter.
- Place the EP adapter over the center spindle when playing 17-cm EP records.
3. Set the SPEED button to 45 or 33.
4. Set the SIZE selector to 17 or 30.
5. Close the dust cover.
6. Set the input selector on the amplifier/source.
7. Press the START or PLAY button.
8. Adjust the volume control on the amplifier/source.
- The tonearm will automatically return to the rest position when the record finishes.
To lift the stylus during play (B)
Press the arm-elevation button UP.
Restart playback by pressing the arm-elevation button DOWN.
To stop during play (C)
Press the STOP button.
Precautions when playing records
- Do not rotate or stop the platter manually.
- Do not stop the tonearm manually when it is returning automatically.
- Moving or jarring the unit without securing the tonearm can damage the tonearm.
- Playing flexible records or badly warped records can damage the records and the stylus.
Manual Play
Open the dust cover.
Place the record on the platter.
- Place the EP adapter over the center spindle when playing 17-cm EP records.
Set the SPEED button to 45 or 33.
Set the SIZE selector to 17 or 30.
1. Press the arm-elevation button.
2. Move the tonearm to the track which is to be heard.
- The turntable will now start rotating.
3. Close the dust cover.
4. Press the arm-elevation button DOWN.
- The tonearm will now lower onto the record and play will start.
